Final Fantasy XV: Kiri

Both because I've been wanting to make a version of her for the game, as well as a theoretical/plot still in the works rp with a close friend I wont reveal too much about the plot yet, but Kiri here is paired with Gladiolus, while my friend's character Myra is paired with the dumpster-trash husbando, Ardyn =w= (I can more than see the appeal, trust me, but I'm currently in Gladio-Hell myself FF15 wise >//w//>;; Cant find a way out, even if I wanted to...) The leather collar is an accessory she keeps, as its given to her by a certain someone, as well as the hawk/eagle tag that goes with it~

I know how there's a bunch of references to older FF-Games in XV, so with Kiri's design I went a bit more Moomba/Gunblade/Fur Jacket since FF8 will forever be one of my top favorites, as well as the first Final Fantasy game I ever played. (Squall is not my top fave from the game however, but I loved the Moombas, the Gunblades, and the leather jacket with fur aesthetic~) She'll definitely have more Moomba themed stuff with clothes and mascots, if I draw her more with said different stuff The Moomba shirt decal is something I did myself, definitely took a while to think up and design so it didnt look too awkward ><; (One of her back pockets has the word Moomba written on it in small fancy gold letters/embroidery.)

Anyway, been a while since I got SAI to do a transparent file, so I just hope there isnt too much color blotches outside the lines. But if anything, drawing her gunblade even close to the thinner/rapier-like design I wanted while making it look fancy, was a total bitch D: Need more practice with those kinda weapons. Regardless, it was really fun getting out a proper design and coloring her even if only a few small parts are shaded. Until next time~

-Kiri mainly uses Gunblades as her go-to weapon, but if unable to or needs to go close combat, she'll result to a fist-fighting style with her gloves. But, she does eventually get fist weapons to better protect her hands. (Another reference to my main fave character of FF8, Zell Dincht.)
-Really tried to give Kiri more fluff since she's supposed to be as not a skinny character as I used to draw her. But I could only add so much in places before it looked too weird so for now this as best as I could get it ><;; (She's supposed to be fluffier with weight, or later added muscle depending on the universe, story she's in, etc.)
-Horizontally reversed the base I used, since the artwork looked better that way after I did that and fixed other stuff.
